In-depth Analysis: Section A assesses students’ Reading skills so I will help your teenager to quickly and efficiently extract relevant information from a given text and equip them with the skills they need to understand and evaluate different writing styles, techniques and purposes. Writing Techniques: Students will learn what each question is asking them to do and how to craft relevant and articulate answers. We will look at example exam questions and your teenager will learn practical tips to enhance their writing style, structure and coherence, and ensure their answers stand out to examiners. Time Management: Managing time efficiently in GCSE English exams is essential to success so your teenager will learn how to quickly read and comprehend texts, how long to spend on each question and which questions to prioritise. Peer Interaction: One of the main benefits of group lessons is the opportunity to engage with fellow students.
